I have been preparing for this year’s golf season since January. I set up my “Feed The Piggy” account at a local bank and deposited my savings from coupons and rebates until I reached my goal of $500 for green fees. I attended Weight Watchers meetings, exercised regularly, and lost 15 lbs. by eating healthier. We enjoyed summer-like weather on Easter, and the local golf course officially opened for the season. Monday morning I dropped off my clubs so the golf pro could quickly regrip them. Hopefully, the new grips will help me improve my game. I have stocked my shelves with high protein snacks that were purchased for that much needed boost of energy on the back nine.
The new Graze and the Luna, Pure, Larabar, Zone Perfect, and 18 Rabbits are examples of the convenient, healthy snacks that will accompany me to the course. Rebates on Checkout 51 and Ibotta helped me to purchase my food supply for a fraction of the cost. I also used the available rebates to stock up on beer for there is nothing that tastes better than an ice cold beer after a hot round of golf!
